Holio, straight from your Dock
Your familiar workspace
Navigate Holio, switch company and continue your work inside the app. Access follows your Holio account.
Messages within reach
Receive notifications for new messages and open conversations in a separate window beside your workspace.
Its own session
The app has its own sign-in. Production and test environments use separate sessions.
Install and open production
Select production the first time. The app remembers your environment when you close it.
Choose your Mac version
Choose Apple Silicon if About This Mac lists an Apple M chip. Choose Intel if your Mac has an Intel processor.
Move Holio Desktop to Applications
Open the downloaded DMG and drag Holio Desktop into Applications. Then launch it from Applications or Launchpad.
Select Miljø → Produksjon
Choose Produksjon in the app menu, or press ⌘3. Version 0.2.2 opens Stage on a clean installation, so this step is required. Production opens app.holioworkspace.com inside the app.
Sign in with your Holio account
Use your work account and select the company you want to work with. Your browser sign-in does not transfer automatically to the app.
Before you download
Do I need a Holio account?
Yes. The app connects to Holio Workspace production and requires an account with access. You use the same companies and permissions as on app.holioworkspace.com.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. Holio Desktop connects to Holio Workspace online so you work with current data.
Is Holio Desktop available for Windows?
This page offers the Mac versions. On Windows, use Holio Workspace in your browser at app.holioworkspace.com.
How do I update the app?
You can always download the version on this page and replace Holio Desktop in Applications. Quit the app first. Your company data remains in Holio.
